Working for second company, would be breach of contract?

I work as IT consultant and have contract with one company. I want to sign second contract with other company. However I wonder if it might be treated as breach of my contract.
One clause rise my concerns:"unless prevented by Incapacity, devote the whole of his time, attention and abilities to the business of the Company"
It is quite general, but signing second contract might be trated as breach of 'devoting the whole of his time'?

Oh. This question. Again. I think I won't move it to the correct forum this time.

BenKart if you can't search the forum before asking a question, then you're incapable of running concurrent contracts.

Good for you.Now read this: https://forums.contractoruk.com/busi...contracts.html

A tip: General is not the place to post questions about Business/Contracts.

Which is why I've been saying for years that General needs to be beneath the Professional forums so that newbies only go there after seeing deciding that the other forums are not for them.

But hey one of the things I do is watch users actually use systems so what do I know.

Perhaps Admin thinks that General is the most productive subforum, financially.

General sounds like "General Contracting" to new members i.e. all contracting that's not about accounting or contract details. Especially as we have Light Relief which si what you would expect General to be.

Forum sections Contracting/Social would be more intuitive... reordering the forums in the main list would be sensible too.

When I was at sixth form a mate of mine had part time jobs at McDonalds and Burger King.

                It can be done.

Totally agree with this and I've said the same as well. But if some eejit can't be bothered to take one squint at the types of posts in the forum then they are open season. No excuse for thinking General is the place to post anything.

Either move it down or change the subheading. It's funny as it is but it's not helping the newbies. 'Not the forum for professional questions' might be more helpful... BIDI

One eejit that has asked a question and then disregarded the answer anyway. The clause quoted says to me they will have real problems if the current client finds out...
